About AABC

AABC was originally established in 2001 as “Anglian Aggregate Bagging Co. Ltd” and is now known as “AABC Bagging Ltd”. It’s sister company, Clanborn Ltd, was established in 1991 and has since been renamed as “AABC Materials Ltd”. Both companies were acquired by the AABC Group in 2014. Following the acquisition of the Sipson Quarry site in 2016 the company rebranding to “AABC” de-regionalised the companies to reflect the increasing regional coverage and to bring together the activities under one corporate banner.

Since the new ownership of the companies the AABC Group has diversified it’s activities into new areas including landfill (muck away) and quarrying. The group now comprises of four sites with a combined total tonnage of over 500,000 tonnes being excavated and delivered into the market. AABC have gone from strength to strength with incredible growth, whilst employing the best in the business to ensure that we offer the best quality and the best service possible. The company has four directors (Managing Director, Commercial Director, Operations Director and a Finance Director) who between them provide a wealth of industry experience and with their diverse roles ensure that the company is managed and developed in a controlled manner ensuring stability for the future. We have a dedicated Sales Team, including some very knowledgeable veterans who have remained with AABC following the acquisition in 2014 and who provide immense strength to the growing team. We also have very close working relationships with key quarrying companies and leading national mineral producers enabling us to deliver what we promise. We pride ourselves on getting things “right first time, every time” and making the aggregate supply service as hassle free for our customers as possible.

The company has invested a great deal in all of it’s operations, including purchasing bespoke vehicles to fulfil our customer’s requirements and investing in new opportunities which have contributed to our strong and successful growth in recent years.
We now have three aggregate bagging facilities, based in Essex, Suffolk and West London. We bag and deliver over 300,000 tonnes of aggregates each year. We operate a fleet of 30 vehicles which enables us to cater for any requirement on site from HIAB’s, Moffets and standard Artic Flatbed Trailer for bagged goods. We also have rigid vehicles to accommodate those smaller sites where manoeuvrability is an issue. Not only do we deliver to some of the largest builders merchants in the country we also offer the same level of service to our independent merchants too.

We are proud to be a FORS Bronze accredited fleet operator, an achievement that was first awarded to us in 2017. We also have achieved the ISO 9001 (2015) accreditation to provide comfort to both our customers and suppliers that we operate a well organised and caring business.
